> Find your public IP, IPv6, ISP, ASN and approximate network location. Copy your address and inspect another IP with clear browser tools.

Canonical: https://2faorbit.online/my-ip/
Language: en

## How to use

1. Open the page to detect the connection address.
2. Read the network details and approximate location on the map.
3. Use Detect my IP to repeat the check, or Copy IP to copy the result.

## Limitations

IPv6 appears only if your connection can reach the IPv6 detection service. IP location is approximate, not a GPS or home address.

## Your public IP, explained

This page detects the address visible to Internet services. IPv4 and IPv6 are checked separately; an IPv6 result requires a working IPv6 connection. ISP, ASN and approximate location describe the network associated with the address.

A VPN, proxy or mobile network can change the address that websites see. Use Detect my IP again after switching connections, then compare it with the address your VPN provider expects.

Why is my IP location different from my home?+

IP location databases describe networks and can point to a nearby city or a provider’s network hub. This is not a GPS reading or an exact home address.

Is this my private Wi-Fi address?+

This tool shows your public Internet address. A private address such as 192.168.1.10 belongs to your local network; inspect it with IP lookup to identify its address scope.
